Trust me, I have no beef against Medium. Let 's not diss one of the greatest blogging platforms out there here. I only decided to move on from it because I want to feel that somewhere on the internet, there 's some small space that belongs to me. The place where there 's no paywall and won 't shove PLEASE ALLOW COOKIES prompt up your face every time you visit.

Anyway, after following their Github repo for a while, Payload finally launched version 3.0 recently which has full compatibility with Next.js project. So here goes.
- Postgres (get free instance from
Supabase ,
Vercel ,
CockroachDB )
- MongoDB (check out
Atlas for free)
- SQLite
